Terms of Access
1. Your use of the Site is subject to the following terms and conditions, which you are deemed to accept each time you use the Site.
2. To access certain areas of the Site you may be required to register with RTC. In completing the registration process you must provide current, complete and accurate information as prompted by the applicable registration form. You may also be required to choose a password and a user name. You are exclusively responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account and for any and all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify RTC immediately of any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security. RTC will not be liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of someone else using your password or account, either with or without your knowledge. However, you could be held liable for losses incurred by us or another party due to someone else using your account or password. You may not use anyone else’s account at any time, without the permission of the account holder.
3. Each employment assignment or placement arising as a result of an introduction made by RTC will be subject to RTC’s standard Terms of Business as they are applicable in the circumstances. A copy of these is available on request.
4. You will not use the Site for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms. You may not use the Site in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Site. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, other person’s account, or to any computer systems or networks connected to the Site, whether through hacking, password mining or any other means. You may not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available through the Site.
5. Whilst RTC makes every effort to ensure that the information on the Site is accurate and complete, some of the information is supplied by third parties and RTC is not able to check its accuracy or completeness. RTC does not accept any liability arising from any inaccuracy or omission in any of the information on the Site or any liability in respect of information on the Site supplied by you, any other site user or any other person.
6. You are exclusively responsible for any information submitted by you to the Site. You are responsible for ensuring that all information supplied by you (i) is true, accurate, up-to-date and not misleading or likely to mislead or deceive; (ii) is not discriminatory, obscene, offensive, or defamatory; (iii) complies with any applicable legislation, regulations, guidelines or codes of practice; and (iv) does not infringe the copyright, trade mark or other intellectual property rights of any person in any jurisdiction. You must ensure, before you submit any information or data to the Site, that all information, data and files are free of viruses or other routines or engines that may damage or interfere with any system or data. RTC reserves the right to remove any information supplied by you from the Site at our sole discretion, at any time and for any reason without being required to give any explanation.
7. RTC will process any data which you provide in completing the online registration or application forms and any further forms, assessments or personal details which you complete or provide to us when using the Site in accordance with UK data protection legislation. Pleas see the following section.
8. Personal information comprising your CV may be accessed by third parties outside the Economic European Area. This could happen, for example, if you apply for a vacancy where the employer is based outside the EEA. By registering and using the Site, you consent to this transfer.
9. By registering and using the Site, you also consent to us collecting and processing sensitive personal data supplied by you and disclosing this information to prospective employers and clients in connection with the recruitment process (which for these purposes includes the process of gaining employment and the ongoing administrative process involved once you have gained employment).
10. On the Site you may from time to time be offered links to other sites which we hope will be of interest to you. RTC does not accept any responsibility for or liability in respect of the content of such other sites. Using the links to gain access to such sites is done entirely at your own risk.
11. The rights in material on the Site are protected by international copyright, software and trademark laws and you agree to use the Site in a way which does not infringe these rights. You may copy material on the Site for your own private or domestic purposes, but copying for any commercial or business use is not permitted.
12. RTC may terminate your registration and/or deny you access to the Site or any part of it (including any services, goods or information available on or through the Site) at any time in our absolute discretion and without any explanation or notification.
